A new vacancy has arisen in Leeds for an Account Handler. The role will involve handling the internal servicing of clients' accounts, providing an internal back up to Account Executives. You will also take instructions to deal with necessary adjustments to policies and negotiate with insurers on renewal terms. Additionally you will assist in preparing reports for presentation to clients, comment on policy wordings and suggest improvements to covers, checking all documentation before issue to clients. You will handle a specific scheme providing cover to a niche market.
The ideal applicant will possess a minimum of 12 months commercial insurance experience gained within a broking or underwriting environment. You will have good administrative skills and be at ease in dealing with clients over the telephone. Successful applicants will be ambitious and demonstrate a commitment to their career through study of insurance qualifications.
