Account Handler - Mid-Corporate

We have a vacancy for a broker based in Leicester to join a vibrant and enthusiastic team of Account Handlers whose role it is to provide an efficient, high quality day to day service with responsibility for a panel of Mid Corporate clients. You will work closely with the Development and Account Executives in obtaining competitive quotations to help generate profitable income.

Essential Experience & Skills Required:

Appropriate experience and knowledge of corporate &/or commercial insurance.
Educated Cert CII or equivalent.
Ability to build and develop relationships with key underwriters
Good negotiation skills
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to prioritise and organise work
Ability to work supportively and jointly with fellow team members

To arrange and secure appropriate cover for new business and at renewal at a competitive premium, completing all relevant documentation in line with FSA guidelines. Provide day to day contact for clients. Work with Account Executives to secure competitive quotations for renewal and new business. Assistance in the preparation of reports & presentations. Ensure that all advice and operations remain compliant. Maintenance of Acturis based information.
