Salary: £40,000 – £60,000 + car allowance + phone allowance + bonus

Role Summary:
This is a key opportunity for an ambitious Account Executive to drive new business across the retail and commercial markets. You’ll manage the full sales process — from prospecting and client meetings through to placement and onboarding — while ensuring FCA compliance and maintaining the firm’s high service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and convert new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and referral activity.
• Meet clients face-to-face to understand their insurance needs and deliver tailored solutions at competitive terms.
• Broke and underwrite risks in line with company and FCA best practice.
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients and industry partners to support retention and growth.
• Prepare and present comprehensive new business proposals, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure smooth handover and client onboarding.
Requirements:
• Cert CII qualified or working towards (desirable)
• Proven experience in commercial or retail insurance, ideally in a new business or client-facing role
• Strong understanding of FCA regulations and compliance principles
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Self-driven, resilient, and able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
• Confident networker with a proactive approach to business development
