A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Account Executive to join Europcar, based in our Leicester office. The Account Executive position is a key role within the SME team, supporting retention and development of an existing portfolio of clients by telephone contact.

Europcar is a market leader and a global brand specialising in Vehicle Rental Solutions. Founded in 1949 in Paris, Europcar has continued to grow and now operates in 143 different countries across the globe.

Key tasks & responsibilities

  • To regularly communicate with existing customers and ensure quick and efficient responses to customer questions and concerns
  • To establish and maintain existing customer relationships and seek further business opportunities
  • To be able to explain existing and new products or changes in terms of business to assist with creating opportunities with existing customers
  • As appropriate renegotiate terms at relevant points
  • To efficiently and quickly respond to new customer enquiries
  • Identify recurrent issues impacting customer satisfaction
  • Ensure all communication is logged on the customer system for future reference/opportuntities
  • Ensure call targets are achieved on a daily basis

Skills required

  • Excellent and professional telephone manner
  • High level of written communication with attention to detail
  • Numerate
  • Fast and accurate keyboard skills
  • Previous experience in a customer service telephony environment would be an advantage
  • Training will be provided for technology and Europcar products and services
