This advertising and branding agency based in London, looking for an Account Executive, is part of one of the world’s largest advertising & communications groups. It’s a well-established brand within the sector, and they offer global specialist healthcare communications programmes to a wide range of household named pharmaceutical companies.
The job of Account Executive will entail:
- Working as part of an account handling team allocated to one or more clients.
- Developing responsibilities for the products that are being marketed and gradually taking more and more responsibility for client liaison. The products you will work with are a mix of prescription, over the counter, and consumer healthcare brands.
- As an Account Executive, you will have daily contact with the clients, mainly coordinating the trafficking of jobs that the agency is working on but as the role develops you will become more and more involved in referencing, creative briefs and more detailed account handling responsibilities.
- You will need a life-science degree, and ideally some experience of working in a marketing agency environment and have an absolute passion and desire to work in the healthcare communications arena. If you haven’t worked as an Account Executive in a healthcare advertising agency, but have the life-science background and have worked in a marketing environment, this might suffice. There are many different projects going on at any one time, so it’s important that you have a talent for multi-tasking efficiently.
