Account Executive - Food & Drink PR

This client is a PR Week top 25 ranked natural health, beauty and nutrition PR agency, servicing some of the best-known brands in this sector since 1992. This is a fun agency where they work hard, play hard and enjoy interesting extra-curricular activities. Although their craft is public relations, their business is all about brand marketing and they are looking for an Account Executive to join their food & drink PR team in Soho.

They develop and deliver winning communications programmes that help their clients create, build and defend leading health food & drink brands. Their clients include consumer brands with healthy food & drink wellness messages to deliver to a range of end users - mainly direct consumers.

As an Account Executive you will provide a vital role within the team structure, utilising your PR skills to drive day-to-day account handling and project management while managing individual workloads for your team. You will become the main point of contact for some important clients, ensuring objectives and deadlines are met and also starting to provide counsel and some strategic advice.

The ideal candidate will be an existing account handler with around 6-18 months core skills gained in a UK PR agency. You MUST have a proven track record of both selling in stories and identifying new opportunities in the press in the food & drink environment. This agency suits ambitious, warm and outgoing people with high energy levels and a passion for the media and communication. You should have a real passion for healthy food & drink brands, and also very good journalist / blogger contacts.
