Account Exec/Account Handler

We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity on a permanent basis for a combined role of Account Exec/Account Handler position in south Manchester.

This is an integral role in their business plan, to develop and grow their Commercial team for one of their satellite offices.

You will need to be determined, positive and self-motivated with excellent communication and negotiation skills. You will have excellent interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build rapport as Customer service is key to long-standing relationships.

Within the role, there will be high amounts of brokering new business cases which gives you the chance to be client facing, and the freedom to build your own client base through networking events, social media or even actively marketing businesses locally.

The candidate:

  • Will have experience working as an Account Handler/Account Executive within Commercial Insurance
  • Will have a good to very good commercial insurance knowledge
  • Professional CII qualifications are preferred
  • Will have knowledge of Acturis ( desirable but not essential)
  • Will be Self-Motivated and organised
  • Will possess excellent communication skills
  • Can demonstrate good organisational skills and diary management
  • Will have experience of delivering and achieving results against targets
  • Will be an effective communicator, influencer and relationship builder
  • Will have proven ability to forward plan effectively
