About the Role of Account Director
Due to expansion this global Technology Research business is looking to hire a Senior Account Manager / Account Director to join the sales team to manage and grow an existing client base of emerging technology vendors across the UK & Ireland along with a small number of accounts covering Europe.
You will be responsible for renewals along with developing new business and driving growth from a small existing portfolio of accounts worth in excess of £4Million selling subscriptions for their market research and online intelligence, custom research and consulting solutions (deal sizes can vary from £20k - £200k!).
Part of the role will involve face to face travel / meetings for sales presentations with 'C’ level decision makers including Heads of Strategy, Heads of Innovation, Chief Marketing Officers & Procurement Directors to CIO’s and CTO’s of emerging Technology Vendors so therefore we are looking for someone who is polished with excellent presentation skills along with a proven track record in account management and business development.
This is a fantastic opportunity if you're a hungry and ambitious Account Management / Business Development individual. This would suit if you have a minimum of 10+ Years in Enterprise Sales and have sold Market Research, Business Information / Business Intelligence or Advisory Solutions to 'C’ level decision makers.

Your skills and experience:
- Minimum of 10+ Years in Account Management or Business Development
- Experience of selling Business Intelligence / Business Information, Advisory Solutions / Consulting Sales
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales revenue targets
- Experience of selling into Technology Vendors is preferred but not essential
- Degree educated
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Goal orientated and results driven with excellent presentation and relationship building skills
- Experience in Enterprise level Sales
