Account Director

iRecruit Partners are currently working with Full service creative and digital marketing agency on the borders of Berkshire & Oxfordshire who are looking for an Account Director to join their rapidly expanding team. They need their Account Director to love the full marketing mix, create and lead client programmes that will exceed expectations and provide great ROI.

You’ll be a visible presence within your accounts; onsite with clients as often as possible, building and nurturing long lasting relationships (don’t forget those Birthdays). You’ll be expected to drive and manage all elements of a successful account including:

  • Client briefs
  • Proposals
  • Internal resource
  • The creative process
  • The production produces
  • Timelines
  • Budgets/Financial planning
  • Cross selling and identify opportunities to grow accounts
  • Managing and developing your team members
  • Attending networks and industry events

You must have a client experience led approach to enable account growth and create opportunities. As a leading member of the account management team, you will be able to liaise with clients on a daily basis from junior roles to boardroom to deliver campaigns and solve problems. Your natural proactive approach will help the company present and sell in proposals but also spot opportunities to help the clients with ways to expand, create or execute campaigns.


  • Experience in delivering integrated campaigns from strategy to execution
  • Expertise in inbound marketing, automation systems, content syndication and social amplification to People Management/delegation skills
  • At least 4 years’ experience of managing multiple projects from a B2B or integrated agency
  • A track record of growing accounts
  • The ability to forge and establish new client account relationships
  • Dynamic, outgoing personality with strong drive to deliver/succeed
  • Understand the full marketing mix
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
