Our client is a leading global customer engagement agency that gets their clients' customers to engage with brands through marketing communications involving a mix of data, creative, technology, insight and ideas. The firm contacts every UK household at least once a week on behalf of the some of the best known and influential global brands.

The role

A highly experienced Account Director with a minimum 10 years experience leading a high profile, dynamic and demanding account in a recognised agency is required to head up one of the firm's flagship automotive accounts. Managing a team of 4 and operating as an expert extension of the client's CRM team, you will provide strong vision to drive CRM innovation, award winning customer campaigns and inspiration to an exceptionally high performing team. You will evolve the Single Customer View database, deliver GDPR initiatives to ensure the client is compliant and manage strategic Creative projects. Owning the client relationship at a senior level to ensure the client's expectations are exceeded and innovation is delivered, you will be the direct interface between internal delivery teams and the client across all work initiatives and deliverables. Briefing all strategic work into the relevant department you will set SMART objectives and understand end-to-end print / production and digital email / SMS execution process.

The requirements

Educated to degree level (ideally in a marketing / media / business discipline), you will have 10 years+ Account Management / Campaign Management experience at a recognised agency ideally having worked on either automotive, Financial Services or telecommunications accounts. This will include 3-5 years people management experience. An excellent communicator, you will demonstrate passion and understanding of Creative and direct / digital marketing. Exhibiting significant experience in data / digital / email marketing with extensive exposure to CRM, Single Customer View and print / direct mail, you will understand the production process and be familiar with GDPR. Highly organised, with the flexibility to adjust your focus across multiple initiatives and across any channel, you will possess a strong creative thought process.
