Account Development Manager - The Role:

Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to;

  • Prospecting into lapsed / dormant customers
  • Identify and closing opportunities for a wide range of technology solutions as well as managed services
  • Research new sales opportunities within the existing portfolio of accounts and identify new potential customers
  • Working towards a ramped up Gross Profit sales target
  • Provide accurate reporting (forecasting, pipeline etc)
  • Actively engage in training and development opportunities offered by vendors and distributors alongside internal training programmes

Account Development Manager - The Candidate:

  • Proven track record within an end user focused sales role
  • 2+ years within a business-to-business sales environment
  • From a proactive telesales, internal sales, internal account manager or telemarketing background
  • Knowledge of the IT Sales channel and IT Distributors / Resellers extremely advantageous
  • Proven track record of working towards and exceeding sales targets
  • History of creating and developing customer / client relationships
  • Confident and professional telephone manner with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • You should have the ability to demonstrate active listening
