Chapter Spitalfields is a vibrant, innovative community home to almost 1200 students. 33 floors high, with several residential apartments and retail outlets also located on site, it offers modern living with breath-taking views of the city's incredible skyline.

Reporting to the Community Manager, the Senior Leasing Manager will lead the day to day operational duties involved in managing our largest Community including coordinating and delivering the leasing and reservations activities which achieve budgeted revenue, identifying and delivering occupancy priorities, resident retention and leasing goals and objectives and delivering excellent customer service. Leading the team by example you will contribute towards building a vibrant, safe and welcoming community our residents enjoy being part of.

Day to day, you’ll work in partnership with the marketing and sales teams to shape local marketing and leasing strategies and forge strong relationships with key stakeholders such as groups and universities. You’ll promote resident satisfaction and retention activities within the Community, oversee and monitor availability to ensure an appropriate inventory of "ready" apartments, and analyse operational and financial reports to identify and resolve issues impacting business performance, creating meaningful reports that inform decision making.

Our teams work on a rota basis covering morning, evening and weekend shifts. This role operates on a shift basis across the week between the hours of 8AM to 9PM and on a weekend rotation.

Previous experience of successfully driving leasing/sales performance and managing operations including P&L responsibility and budget monitoring within the property sector or similar environment is essential; along with a proven track record of motivating and delivering service excellence in a similar management role/ environment.

You’ll be a self-starter possessing exceptional customer service, communication and organisation skills, with a flexible approach to work and ability to work in a change environment. Strong numeracy skills are essential, an enthusiasm for developing yours and your team members’ capability and you'll also thrive on being a hands on team player and confident responding to whatever challenge is presented.

Experience in sales and marketing event delivery would be advantageous as would knowledge and understanding of UK Health and Safety policies and of Landlord/Tenant Legislation.
