It is a hugely exciting time at Pearson Business School as we move into the next phase of our development. As part of this we are recruiting for a number of permanent full-time tutor positions across the following specialisms:

  • General Business and Management Studies

  • International Business

  • Marketing

  • Data and analytics

  • Business Strategy

  • Economics

  • Business Technology/IT

  • Contract Law

  • Land Law

  • Family Law

  • IP Law

  • Legal Practice Course Modules including: Criminal Litigation, Advocacy and Negotiation, Property Law and Practice, Wills and Administration of Estates.

The Role

We are looking for highly engaging and enthusiastic tutors with a strong track record in business, preferably in an academic and/or training environment, to help design and deliver our unique undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Candidates must possess an ability to relate theory to relevant industry and cutting edge business practice. Our tutors are supported to research their relevant area of academic expertise and engage/forge relationships with appropriate business and commercial partners.

Working closely with the relevant Programme Leader, you will ensure the education and training offered within the School is of the highest quality and that the courses in your specific area represent contemporary and contemporary ‘real-world’ practice. Candidates should be able to demonstrate an ability to work in small, creative and innovative teams at a high standard. Applicants who are s, flexible in their approach, highly motivated and keen to develop in their professional sphere are particularly encouraged to apply.


About You


  • Eligibility to work in the UK

  • At least a Masters (FHEQ Level 7) level academic qualification or professional equivalent.

  • A specialism in one or more of the subject areas as listed above


  • A professional qualification.

  • A demonstrable commercial and “real life” approach to your field of specialism

  • Experience of either face to face and/or synchronous online training

  • A willingness to develop professionally both in the academic and professional spheres

  • Teaching experience (though those new to teaching should not be discouraged from applying)
