Your new primary school with the West Lancashire area is seeking to appoint a literacy specialist teaching assistant to join their outstanding English department.
Your new role
As a specialist teaching assistant within English it will be your responsibility to deliver interventions to KS1 and KS2 students of mixed ability with a view to increasing attainment within English. This role is an immediate start pending compliance proceedings Monday to Friday 08:30 - 15:00. It will initially operate on a temporary basis with a view at going permanent at the end of the academic year following a successful placement.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful within this post a strong subject knowledge within English is essential with strong A Level results in English or a literacy degree qualification desirable. If you hold a formal TA qualification then you should also apply for this role.
