Job Title: 7.5t Drivers
Location: High Wycombe
Pay rate from £9.83 p/h - £12.66 p/h
Monday - Friday
Our client are one of the UK's largest privately owned distributors of steel tubes, fittings, valves & pipe supports with close to 50 years experience operating within these market places. An employee owned business since December 2015 with just 13 staff 10 years ago, they now have over 100 employees and 5 branches nationwide, their reputation for outstanding customer service has allowed them to benefit from substantial growth over the last 10-years.
7.5t drivers are required to deliver steel tubes, pipes, fittings, valves & pipe supports to building sites mainly in and around London. There is an element of hand ball but due to the deliveries being to building sites the product is fork-lifted off if not there are people there to help off load. All the vehicles at this client are flat beds; you will need to have ratchet strap experience for this job.
- Holds 7.5t 2 cat C1 driving Licence (1 year min experience driving a 7.5t vehicle)
- Has no more than 6 penalty points & no DD, DR or IN endorsements
- Over 25 years of age (for Insurance purposes)
- Holds a valid driver CPC card
- Holds a valid Digital Tacho card
- Ratchet Strap experience
- Experience of multi drop deliveries
- A good understanding of the Drivers Hours & Road Transport Working Time Regulations
- A good geographical knowledge
Guaranteed 8 hours minimum pay per working day
