Job Function

  • Acts as liaison between customers and service department by communicating with customers and expressing customer concerns to service department;
  • Liaising with drivers, various office departments and customers.

Customer service responsibilities

  • Offering customer support;
  • Handling enquiries;
  • Answering incoming calls and managing all account incoming calls professionally and promptly;
  • Performing administrative functions; providing general administrative support, to prepare correspondence and documents. All data to be entered clearly and emails responded to in a timely manner.
  • Updating client accounts;
  • Contacting customers via telephone to agree abortive/amendments to orders based upon drivers instructions/information and follow up in writing;
  • Processing customer correspondence;
  • Working in conjunction with the Logistics Department;
  • Reporting all accidents or damage, however minor, to the Company immediately;
  • Working with waste management requests on a daily basis, maintain a good understanding of what the business delivers;
  • Booking hotels for drivers where necessary with the appropriate planning and authorisation;
  • Co-operating with employers and co-workers to help everyone meet their legal requirements;
