Your new role
You will be required to support pupils within your allocated year groups to provide support inside and outside the classroom by supporting small groups of children through interventions such as Phonics interventions where Speech and Language support is necessary, Social interventions, Academic interventions and in some cases, Behavioural intervention groups. You will work closely with any necessary external professionals such as Occupational therapists and Speech and Language Therapists and report back to the SENDCo regularly to ensure the most effective and consistent support is provided to your assigned children.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful at this position you will have previous experience supporting pupils with SEN and be familiar with Educational Healthcare Plans including meeting goals which are key to the child's development. You will have excellent communication skills and be driven and ambitious.
