3rd Line Support Specialist - Duties Include:

You will be joining and shaping a dynamic support team, responsible for the efficient remote resolution of escalated faults, issues and configuration requests. You to be able to work flexibly to respond to emergencies or support projects and participate in the maintenance, development, and evaluation of clients’ infrastructure systems, in line with business support needs and requirements.

Fundamental to the role is the ability to offer exceptional customer service through excellent written, oral and organisational skills, while delivering accurate technical resolutions to issues. Proactively sharing knowledge with colleagues to develop a positive, 'can-do’ culture.

  • Effective management of issues to resolution
  • Clearly designed, documented, delivered systems in line with agreed customer expectation
  • Change managed in a live environment without unexpected outages or disruption
  • Working collaboratively with team members and mentoring junior members of the team
  • Act as point of escalation from 2nd line team
  • Adhere to and contribute towards service desk processes to ensure service levels are met

3rd Line Support Specialist - About You:

  • Strong analytical and technical skills, logical approach to fault finding
  • Multi server environment management and migration skills
  • Remote Desktop Services server cluster setup and management experience
  • Track record of migration from existing Microsoft Exchange environment
  • Able to setup WatchGuard firewall for networks of 50 seats and above
  • Firewall deployment experience
  • Track record of advanced wireless network setup - multi SSID, Enterprise WLAN with RADIUS authentication, etc - design considerations and delivery
  • VLAN design and implementation - including network and subnet design
  • Able to support wide range of client devices and functions: PC, Mac, mobile devices and printing
  • Ability to design, installation and configuration of advanced systems, including multi-site deployment, secondary and fail-over servers, clustering, advanced print routing, and accounting
