3rd Line Support Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced 3rd line support engineer with a strong technical background and excellent experience in providing IT support. The successful applicant will be working on fixing a wide range of technical issues both internally and also for external clients and managed services.

The main duties and responsibilities
• Incident management 

• Resolving high level technical issues 

• Progress desk tickets to the points of completion 

• Managing difficult IT outages with clients 

It is essential for the 3rd Line Support engineer to have:

• Strong IT support experience 

• A strong understand of Microsoft server, SAN, virtualisation and networking technologies is essential 

• Strong troubleshooting ability

It would also be ideal although not essential for the 3rd line support professional to have:

• CCNA /CCNP qualification 

• MCSA/SCSE certified

• VMware based accreditations
