3rd Line Network Engineer (DV Cleared)

Location: Basingstoke (5 Days on-Site)

Clearance: Active DV (Sole British National)

Salary: £45,000 - £54,500

Your Role

A primary organisation in the UK Defence Sector are seeking an experienced 3rd Line Network Engineer with expertise in both Virtualised and traditional network solutions to join a dynamic team on a secure customer site. As a pivotal member of the 3L team, your responsibilities will encompass providing support across multi-site domains, leveraging the latest technologies within a secure environment. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and proactive individual to contribute from the system build phase through to live support. Additionally, there will be a requirement for On Call Cover.

Your Experience

Responsibilities:

• 3rd line support for:
  • Cisco Firepower
  • Juniper switches
  • Virtualised Networks (VMWare NSXT)
• Network performance monitoring and analysis
• Knowledge of Storage and Backup Technologies (advantageous)
