A leading IT service provider has a job requirement for a DV Cleared 3rd Line Network Engineer to join their growing team in Milton Keynes. Our client, who operate in over 70 countries and have over 10,000 employees in Europe alone, are Europe's leading independent provider of IT infrastructure services who implement the most appropriate technology from a wide range of vendors to manage their technology infrastructure on their client's behalf. Your new job in Milton Keynes
In your new job as a DV Cleared Third Line Network Engineer based in Milton Keynes, you will utilise your excellent Cisco switching and Cisco routing skills whilst monitoring firewalls and application delivery. Your job will be split into 80% BAU and 20% project work as our client are currently in the process of upgrading their systems to the latest technologies such as Cisco ISE.
In regards to the BAU side of things, you will be managing, maintaining, configuring and troubleshooting the following technologies:
- Cisco Routers & Switches
- Cisco ASA Firewalls
- Cisco ISE
- Cisco Nexus Switches
- F5 Load Balancers
- Juniper Firewalls
What you'll need to succeed
The successful DV Cleared 3rd Line Network Engineer based in Milton Keynes will have excellent organisation skills and you'll be competent with supporting Cisco and Juniper solutions.
You will also have a flexible attitude to work as there will be an element of on call work once every 6 weeks (on call rates apply) and 4 night shifts a month.
