An exciting opportunity has arisen due to the expansion of the company to join our current behaviour support team within Midway care group.
The group requires 2x Behaviour support managers who will be responsible for supporting services in a defined area of the West Midlands.
You will be responsible for supporting the core staff team in delivering positive behaviour support strategies for individuals with learning disabilities, mental health and associated complex behaviours. The role includes working as part of the core team, reviewing and reporting on positive behaviour support protocols, attending team meetings, linking directly with the lead behaviour manager and head of service user support services.
You are required to be flexible in working hours, able to travel independently to the services, be positive about supporting complex behaviour and have a good understanding of learning disabilities, Autism and Mental Health
MUST HAVE OWN VEHICLE AND FULL DRIVING LICENCE
Minimum of level 3 NVQ - prefer level 4
Extensive experience working with people with A.S.D and/or severe challenging needs in a residential setting.
4 years’ experience providing direct care to adults with a learning disability in a formal care setting
