2nd Line Support Analyst - Oracle or SQL - Bristol - Up to £29,000 + Benefits
A global solutions business are currently seeking an ambitious 2nd Line Support Analyst to join their collaborative services team located on the outskirts of Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well renowned organisation with long term progression and an enviable career path.
The successful individual will provide 1st and 2nd line software support across the environment, logging, diagnosing and resolving issues within the agreed SLAs. You will be responsible for providing workarounds for new and existing users, undertaking root cause analysis and setting up new accounts where necessary.
The 2nd Line Support Analyst will be involved in database manipulation, including updates, inserts, queries and scripting, on both Oracle and SQL, as well as configuring of new and existing Oracle Webcentre communities.
The suitable candidate will have a good background in customer-facing, software support roles, with the ability to manage a varying workload and with multiple concurrent tasks. You’ll thrive operating in a collaborative and supportive environment, as part of a busy team working to tight deadlines.
From a technical standpoint, you’ll have a familiarity with ITIL best practices and good knowledge of Oracle or SQL databases.
