2nd Line Support Engineer - PC London, WC1N

Established for over 20 years, BVR has been providing top quality maintenance and support in central London.

We specialise in installing network solutions and providing after-sale support for IT infrastructure.

An opportunity has now arisen for a 2nd Line Support Engineer to join their team. This is a demanding but rewarding role for a self-starter with solid 2nd line experience ready to take their next step in IT support. The successful candidate will benefit from ongoing training and the possibility of career progression. As a 2nd Line Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing network support to SME clients. Joining a friendly team in a busy and face-paced environment, you act as the first point of contact for clients.

To be considered for this position, you must have:

Understanding of TCP/IP protocols, Routers, Switches etc

A knowledge of Microsoft Server administration (Active Directory)

Fault Finding Skills on Windows 7 and Window 10 operating systems

Knowledge of both server and desktop hardware

Excellent Interpersonal skills

As a customer facing Support Engineer, you must have strong communication skills and the ability to prioritise your workload.
