Job Title: Second Line IT Support Engineer

Location: Telford

Salary: £18,000 - £22,000 (dependant on experience)

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

Job Role

This could be an opportunity for an ambitious 1st Line Support Technician to develop or fantastic chance for a strong 2nd Line Technician to further their career. Based in Telford the company provides an exciting environment to further your skills and knowledge with various projects to get involved in while working day-to-day to provide support across this growing business.

Duties

  • To actively manage escalations from the 1st line team, ensuring that actions are resolved efficiently and users updated
  • To investigate, diagnose and resolve IT support issues where possible, working with users, other staff and third party suppliers as appropriate
  • Taking ownership for the resolution of issues, monitoring progress and applying the escalation procedure as necessary
  • To ensure consistent delivery of high quality services to all clients
  • Assist with agreed plans to install or upgrade items of hardware and/or software as directed

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in an IT support role
  • Good knowledge Office 365
  • Salesforce experience would be an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
  • Efficient and organised approach to workload
  • Ability to set expectations and communicate results
