2nd Line IT Helpdesk Analyst.

The successful candidate will join the team of IT Analysts and provide day to day technical support to their clients who use a wide, varied and interesting range of technologies. Candidates must be able to provide IT support for Windows PCs, Applications and Printers as well as perform Server administration. Any macOS support experience would be a huge benefit. The successful candidate will gain huge amounts of experience and exposure to new technologies, and become a member of a deeply knowledgeable team where training and certification is pushed as standard.

Our client is looking for someone who can integrate with their existing team and be part of the successful journey, showing passion and ensuring each client/customer spoken to feels valued.

You will provide technical support for hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, including diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining equipment. Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and software, as well as peripherals such as printers, scanners, and other devices. Perform security updates, virus scans, and backups to ensure data protection and system integrity. Manage user accounts and access, including creating, modifying, and deleting user accounts, as well as resetting passwords and configuring permissions. Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks. Communicate with end-users to understand and resolve technical issues, as well as provide training and guidance on technology use. Assist with the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Document and maintain technical specifications and inventory records for hardware and software. Access monitoring and management tools. Access to end user software installation and updates. Backup and recovery tools. Access to IT asset disposal and recycling tools. Access to software and hardware vendor support portals. Access to end user software installation and updates.
