The client are looking to recruit a 2nd Line Support Engineer on a 3 month contract basis initially, this role will be based in Chesterfield and inside IR-35.
Your new role
The role is to provide effective, high quality, efficient second line technical support by remotely resolving Incidents, Service Requests and identifying Problems. To investigate complex technical enquiries aiding and advice as required to supported clients. To ensure that all escalated Incidents and Requests are passed on with sufficient accurate technical information for the recipient support team and that the clients are kept aware of the situation and that a solution to their incident is being sought within the timescale of the Service Level Agreement targets.
What you'll need to succeed
- Extensive Desktop Support experience supporting windows XP/7/10
- 2nd line experience
- Server support experience at a technical level
- Experience in an IT Network /
- Experience using the LANDesk Service Desk
- Good working knowledge of servers, networking and protocols including: TCP/IP,

The client is offering £14 per hour - inside of IR35
