2nd Line Desktop Support. Based in London (nearest tube - Monument) my client has a new requirement for an 2nd Line Desktop Support person with exceptional customer services /communications skills - verbal & written. My client offers an 35 hour working week - 9.30am to 5.30pm. My client are looking for an desktop support technician who has had ideally exposure to 3rd line and infrastructure technologies and is looking to take the next step in your IT career. This is an exciting opportunity to join an organization that is on the cusp of embarking on a major new IT service strategic initiative.
You must technical experience of:
- Thin client environment (Windows Terminals Services)
- Active Directory
- Windows 7
- Windows Server 2008
- MS Office 2007 and above
- TCP/IP, DHCP and DNS implementation and troubleshooting
- Hardware, printers, scanners, laptops, desktop support
Any skills in Linux, MS Exchange, Group Policies, Virtualisation/VMware, MDM would be a bonus!
You will be working with the desktop support team to provide excellent customer service and specialist support to staff. Your will develop 3rd line skills and with the infrastructure team learn new technologies.
