The Opportunity

If so, we have the perfect 2nd/3rd Line Support Engineer role for you.

We provide outsourced IT solutions and support to a growing number of organisations predominantly in the south of the UK. Due to our commitment for technical excellence and customer service we enjoy a near 100% client renewal rate, so our reputation is growing and therefore so are we! We have now won our first major client in the Midlands, and we need an ambitious 2nd Line IT Support professional who will initially work on site with the client with a view to longer term becoming our 3rd Line technical specialist working with a variety of customers as we expand and open a new office to cover the Midlands.

The Role
You will initially be working on site with our client, providing predominantly high level 2nd line support solutions to approximately 300 end users. Backed by 1st line helpdesk support from our main head office, you will have the time to be able to focus on delivering excellence as our technical representative on site covering Desktop, Server and Networking Support in addition to deployment and upgrade exposure. Technologies include Windows 7/Windows 10 and Server 2008/2012/2016.

Based mostly in Nuneaton, you will also be provided with a company car/car allowance as the client has a second site in Luton which you will be required to attend as needed.

As your experience grows along with our client base in the Midlands, we anticipate that your career development plan will include progression to a 3rd Line role, when you will be then working to resolve high level issues at a variety of different client sites across the region.

The Candidate
You will currently be in at least a 2nd Line role with ambitions to progress. Ideally working for a company which provides IT Support, or working as in house IT Support with a natural focus on customer satisfaction and delivery. Experience of Windows 7 and/or Windows 10 is essential, as is experience of Windows Server 2008 or 2012 or 2016.

The Package
£30,000 to £35,000 plus car or car allowance, 28 days holidays plus pension.
