28 hours/week HR Communications Adviser

I am recruiting for a permanent part-time HR Communications Adviser for a client in the Canterbury area. You will work 28 hours a week. Full-time salary £27,000-£31,000 which will be adjusted pro rata. Parking on-site.

You will report to the Assistant Director and work closely with the Resourcing Team. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing communication between HR and employees 
- Facilitating the delivery of strategic objectives
- Improving engagement and enhancing the HR Department's reputation through various communications channels within existing and future employees
- Planning and executing special communication initiatives and campaigns on specific projects as assigned by the HR Director and Assistant Director
- Creating and maintaining web pages to share knowledge and deliver messages to employees
- Building effective feedback mechanisms and undertaking results analysis
- Using these results to review and refocus where necessary
- Providing internal communications support and advice to HR staff on best practice in communications
- Co-ordinating communications to ensure consistency across HR

The ideal candidate will:
- Be educated to A Level standard or have relevant experience in a similar role
- Have experience of working in an internal communications or HR role and be able to demonstate HR communications skills, such as staff engagement surveys, rewards & benefits and resourcing employee communications
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt to communicating with a diverse range of audiences
- Have strong technical skills including knowledge of social media
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office packages including Excel
- Have an adaptable and flexible approach
- Be a team-player
