24/7 Engineer - Expanding IT Solutions Partner
24/7 Engineer - About The Role:
This is a 24 x 7 (shift pattern) role based out of a state of the art Technical Centre. Our client provides a fully Managed Service for many of its customers including monitoring, managing and hosting of customers Networking Infrastructure, VPNS and Firewalls. This role involves front line customer contact. You will be the first point of contact for our customer base via telephone or e-mail. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to;
- Monitor and respond to system requests based on designated procedural outlines
- Provide basic systems administration tasks, in-line with company and client standards and procedures
- To provide technical assistance to the Customer in the resolution of technical issues
- Escalate as required to the relevant parties using the Internal Escalation Process
- To assist in the generation of client reports
24/7 Engineer - About You:
- To be knowledgeable in current I.T technologies (e.g. Networking, Operating Systems and Hardware Platforms)
- Checkpoint or exposure to perimeter security products in the working environment is desirable
- Software skills and knowledge required:
- Windows OS troubleshooting experience
- Knowledge of Citrix
- Office 365 software skills
