This is an amazing opportunity for someone with a passion for IT who wants to join a growing company that care about your work life and personal development. If you’ve never worked in an IT environment before, it may be worth applying if you have an educational background in IT and customer service experience. Equally if you have no academic background in IT but perhaps have worked a technical customer service position or 1st line role in the past you may also be considered.
This role will allow you to develop your technical knowledge of an IT software support environment and learn from senior members of the team to build a platform to push on and progress within the company.
The company want people who are proactive, great with customers and have a real passion for IT. So even if you have little commercial experience as long as you can show a good academic track record (i.e. a degree or college course in an IT field) along with demonstrable interest in IT (along with basic level Windows/Office knowledge) then you may be considered.
Some key responsibilities in the role will involve:
- Handle incoming calls and accurately log issues with relevant ticket.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and take ownership through to resolution.
- Escalate high impact incidents quickly, in line with procedures and ensure all relevant information is passed on.
Rebel Recruiters are not your ordinary IT recruiters. We are straightforward, easy to work with and have nothing to hide, so if this role tickles your fancy do drop us a line for an honest conversation to see if you may be suitable!
