Successful company within the finance sector, seeks a 1st Line Support Engineer /Junior It Support Analyst with 1 - 2 years' experience to join the onsite Infrastructure team. You will provide 1st Line Support ONLY for the service desk and be responsible for hardware, desk moves and IT support. This is a very junior role but it does offer substantial career development and training.


  • First line support for the Service Desk
    * Ordering and changing toners and consumables etc
    * Checking and changing backup tapes
    * Log and monitor service desk requests
    * Liaising with 3rd party suppliers
    * Managing/updating technical services support, inventory documents
    * Help with facilities management
    * Help with desk moves in London and surrounding offices.
    * Desktop PCs & Laptops imaging
    * Assisting senior members of the team with IT projects
    * Setting up mobile devices via a Blackberry UEM Server
    * Setting up Video and Audio conferencing
    * Active Directory user management
    * A degree in a relevant discipline is preferable
    * Exceptional communications skills - ESSENTIAL

This role will not require any 2nd line support, its a Junior role and would suit candidates starting out in the IT industry with 1-2 years' experience.
