ROLE- 1st Line Support Engineer


TERM- Permanent

SALARY- £18,000- £21,000 per annum

My client are a software solutions company and they are now looking for a 1st line support engineer to join them and help support their software. As a 1st line support engineers you will be responsible for providing 1st line support to businesses in a professional and efficient manner, supporting hardware and software. You will be a key point of contact to ensure the smooth running of businesses.

The 1st Line Support Engineer will have the following attributes:

  • Previous experience providing 1st line support is preferable
  • Great communication on and off the phone
  • Technically and analytically minded
  • Ability to learn new software and technologies

As the 1st Line Support Engineer your main duties will include:

  • Answer incoming calls to log and escalate correctly
  • Resolve issues to the best of your ability
  • Password and Account set up and resets
  • Printer setups and configuration
  • Supporting other colleagues within the team where needed
