Are you a 1st Line Engineer who wants to progress to 2nd line, gain technical training and Microsoft Certifications?

Well here's an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic 1st Line Support Engineer/ Support Analyst. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure, have excellent communication skills and telephone manner. They must have the ability to use initiative and work as part of a team to achieve results.

The 1st Line Support Engineer / Support Analyst will be the 1st point of technical resource for clients, ensuring solutions of escalated issues are achieved within SLA’s with a suitable outcome.

The role is focused upon day to day delivery of technical support in an effective manner ( within defined SLA’s) with attention to detail and accuracy. The nature of the business requires a high level of technical knowledge, flexibility, time management and initiative.

Key skills and responsibilities:

Ensure issues are escalated within the helpdesk team, and to 2nd or 3rd line engineers

Log all support incidents and perform all backup checks

Maintain a good relationship with clients

Make sure 3rd party applications are installed correctly and running efficiently

Supporting multi-site network environments with technologies that include: - LAN, WAN, Citrix, Microsoft, VPN,

  • Windows Server Operating systems experience
  • Active Directory - Managing AD Group Policies
  • SAN, DR
  • MS Windows, MS Office
  • Networking, TCP/IP,
  • VMware
