A 1st Line Support Analyst is required to deliver on-site 1st line support for our Microsoft Gold Certified client in a great Central London location. The 1st Line Support Analyst will be joining a small but reputable IT outsourcing firm (MSP) and offer fantastic opportunities to increase your skillset and work with the latest Microsoft technologies. The 1st Line Support Analyst will not only have the chance to gain valuable 1st line support experience but will also get to work in a friendly and rewarding environment with great career prospects.

As the new 1st Line Support Analyst you will play a vital role and be responsible for support of both hardware and software for customers.

Main Duties and Responsibilities for the 1st Line Support Analyst:

  • The ability to work autonomously and alone and to know when to seek assistance from more experienced colleagues
  • Manage items raised by our IT monitoring system
  • Field phone calls from the customers staff, evaluate the query/problem, take responsibility or pass on the issue as appropriate
  • Installing operating systems & software
  • Preparing machines and installing and configuring hardware
  • Administration functions: completion of expenses, completion of timesheets, general office duties as required
  • Continue personal development including exams and qualifications (funded by Company or customer as appropriate)

This 1st Line Support Analyst position is based in a highly accessible Central London location in White City. Commutable location include locations along the central line such as Shepherds Bush and also further afield including Hammersmith, Ealing, Stratford, Wembley, Edgware, Southwark, Barking, Slough and many more.

This 1st Line Support Analyst position is ideal for anyone looking to gain some quality IT industry experience and really push on with your IT career. It’s a position that is suitable to a wide range of candidates including IT Officer, ICT Technician, 1st / 2nd Line Support Analyst, Technical Customer Service Engineers, Helpdesk or Service Desk Analysts, IT Apprentices and many more!
