1st Line Service Desk Analyst - Manchester

Have you got the IT skills to pay the bills? We are looking for a talented 1st line IT support consultant who will thrive in a fast paced environment. If you are able to time mange, deliver top service with a high level of meeting agreed SLA's along with great IT knowledge, we want to hear from you! Our client is a fast expanding Business Travel Company who pride themselves on their great portfolio of accounts and innovative travel solutions. It will be a demanding IT role but you will be rewarded with a great salary of £17-£19,000 DOE with great Monday-Friday 8am-6pm working hours!

*Providing consultants with 1st line IT support as well as their clients for all branches via support tools, phone and face to face.
*Log incidents and requests as well as triage and action to solve any issues where possible or else escalate in line with company SLA agreements.
*Take ownership of any requests with the business IT needs in both hardware and software etc.
*Ability to work proficiently by themselves as well as part of a team and adhere to company policies clearly.

*The successful candidate must have a high level of IT literacy and a strong command of English to communicate via email, in person and phone.
*A minimum of 2 years in a similar role
*Previous experience in a Travel business company would be beneficial.
*Computing qualification GCSE or higher would be an advantage but not essential
*Microsoft Certified Professional qualifications would be an advantage but not essential
*ITIL Foundation would be an advantage but not essential
*Experience of working in or towards PCI DSS and ISO 27001 would be an advantage but not essential
*Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, suppliers, clients and third party support companies.
*Be proactive and motivated to keep learning new IT systems quickly.
