Required for my client a leading software solutions business based in Staffordshire.

Owing to the internal progression of team members we are looking for enthusiastic 1st line IT support consultants or engineers, who are experienced in providing first class customer application support, Working as part of a team of 1st, 2nd and 3rd line engineers this role will include:

  • Answering the incoming support telephone line
  • Logging, investigating and diagnosis of incidents
  • Monitoring support calls to ensure timely resolution
  • Creating support documentation
  • Identifying priority calls, and escalating appropriately

There is an excellent chance of progression for the right person, ideal candidates will have demonstrable experience of providing 1st line IT support and would suit candidates whom one of the following backgrounds: Technical helpdesk, service desk or 1st line.

Some Saturday working on a rota basis is required (maximum of 2 Saturdays/month depending on holidays)
