2 x 1st line support / 2nd line support / Technical Support Engineers

An excellent role has become available at a rapidly growing cloud based IT services company for a 1st/2nd line technical support engineer, with a focus on Windows Servers, VMware and Cloud Technologies.

You will be working on the latest technology in an innovative environment. You will get expert on the job training from a team of highly competent and experienced technical engineers.

The company has seen significant growth year on year and are looking for a 1st line / 2nd line technical support engineer to work with a range of customers on hosted desktop and cloud solutions.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate a passion for technology and be keen to learn. You would ideally have experience / knowledge of (not all essential):

  • Windows Operating Systems
  • Windows Server
  • VMWare
  • Active Directory
  • Firewalls
  • Networking / Routing / Switching
  • General troubleshooting

A 'can do' attitude is a must and the successful 1st/ 2nd line line technical support engineers will have the opportunity to fast track their career both in terms of knowledge and responsibilities. This rapidly expanding business will present opportunities for both more senior technical and/or management opportunities in the future.

A full driving license is required for this role with some work being conducted on client sites (non drivers may be considered if close to obtaining license).
