They’re now looking for a 1st / 2nd Line Support Engineer to join their team on a three month contract and support infrastructure from their Westminster headquarters.

As a 1st / 2nd Line Support Engineer, you will be tasked with:

- Supporting desktop and mobile infrastructure
- Providing technical expertise to colleagues for the Windows environment
- Logging incidents using the FreshService helpdesk system
- Troubleshooting, support and maintenance of Windows desktop platforms
- Identifying opportunities to enhance or improve technology services
- Monitoring and maintaining the infrastructure environment
- Investigating operational problems
- Ensuring IT best practice is strictly adhered to
- Deploying new user equipment and performing customer handovers

To be considered as a 1st / 2nd Line Support Engineer, you will need:

- Experience of providing first and second-line support to a Windows-based estate
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of networking security practices and anti-virus programmes

You will also need advanced knowledge of the following technologies:

- Windows 7 - 10
- Office365
- Active Directory and Group Policy
- Sophos Anti-virus
- MS Office 2013 onwards
- iOS mobile devices
- Window Server 2003 - 2016
- Automated build technologies
- Mitel phone systems

Relevant IT industry qualifications such as MCP, MCSA, CCNA or VCP would be beneficial to your application.
