Desktop Support – 1st / 2nd line Support ( MS Windows , Troubleshooting )- High Wycombe near Marlow, Beaconsfield , Maidenhead , Stokenchurch , Great Missenden - £25,000 - £28,000pa

We are seeking a bright and enthusiastic 1st / 2nd Line Desktop Support Analyst to help maintain our client’s IT infrastructure.  The role will be based in the High Wycombe headquarters but will also involve occasionally supporting two other remote offices.

The role will cover all aspects of supporting the IT infrastructure– desktop maintenance and software installation.

The environment is primarily Windows based running on a VMware virtual stack.

Main Skills and Experience:

Basic knowledge of TCP/IP network stack and particularly on Network configuration within Windows

Desktop support skills in Windows 7 and Ms Office

Atlassian JIRA Service Desk experience

Support desktops, laptops, printers and mobile handheld devices 

Implement fixes to resolve incidents, remotely, via telephone or at desk-side to ensure end users can access and use the technologies required to fulfil their roles

Good communication skills

Good requirements gathering skills/problem solving

This role will suit someone with 2 years + experience working within a small IT team who is looking to extend and expand their experience within a busy environment supporting both BAU and project work. You will be proactive with the ability to work under your own initiative.
