Do you have experience working with ASD children or have experience in ABA therapy?

An inclusive Primary school in Oxford are searching for a teaching assistant to join them this term. The primary school is amongst great public transport and a supportive community. The Head Teacher is searching for a 1:1 ASD Teaching Assistant - Oxford, to supervise and monitor the education of a student in Year 3. The student manages ASD (autism) and any experience with ABA therapy is a bonus to incorproate those techniques to everyday learning.

  • ASAP start - July 2025 (potential to be kept on a permanent basis)
  • Oxford (OX2)
  • £83 - £90 per day (depending on expereience and certifications)
  • Full time - Mon - Fri *08:30am - 15:15pm*
  • Graduates with 2:1 or higher in SEN subjects or pyschology OR 3 years employment history in an SEN school or 1:1 role.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with Autism and ABA. The child is in Year 3 and the teaching assistant will be required to work with them during all lessons and to ensure they are involved in wider school life. Previous experience in a similar role is ideal for this position.

This role requires someone who will be reliable and committed - the child needs a consistent support system and this will be a vital part of this role.
