1 x Order Entry Sales Administrator / 1 x Internal Sales - Engineering Manufacturing (Mechanical Products) - Middleton - £17k - £24k Depending on Experience + Regular Salary Increases + 1pm Friday Finishes

White Label Recruitment are currently representing a global engineering manufacturing business who manufacture a bespoke product into a very varied and impressive client base. This is an exciting time to join the business as they are growing and have increased by 30% last 2-3 years. They are the biggest UK independent in their field!

Due to continued success and growth plans they are now looking to recruit 1 x Order Entry Sales Admin and 1 x Internal Sales person to be based from their office in Middleton.

Role and Responsibilities

Order Entry / Sales Administration Role

  • Be the first point of contact for customers,
  • Input data and produce simple orders
  • General sales administration tasks
  • Will be trained up to produce full quotes
  • Deal with customer queries and complaints

Internal Sales Role

  • Deal with more complex quotes / account management
  • Have to use costing systems or calculations
  • Quotes from technical drawings
  • Upselling and cross-selling
  • Costings - what margins to apply to make profit
  • Monitoring accounts and getting in touch with old accounts with little orders
  • Phone through lapsed clients
  • Understand commercial conditions / review POs
  • Understand different materials / country of origin, temperature and pressure etc
  • Investigating customer complaints

Experience required

  • For the Order Entry Sales Admin role, they are looking for someone with strong administration skills ideally from an engineering related environment, and with good experience of order entry
  • The Internal Sales role ONLY , they are looking for experience quoting/selling a mechanical product ideally- pumps, valves, seals, gaskets, etc are all of preference
  • Self motivated, organised, team player with excellent communication skills
  • Customer focused
  • Excellent IT skills using Microsoft Office

Benefits

  • Order Entry Sales Admin role - £17-19k
  • Internal Sales role - £20k+
  • 20 days holiday plus additional days for Christmas / New Year off

  • 8am-5pm Mon-Thurs and 8am-1pm Fridays
