1:1 Teaching Assistant Required for mainstream school in Havering

The job:

A 'Good' school in Havering is seeking a committed teaching assistant to work 1:1 with a KS1 pupil to start in September.

This will be a full time job working Monday to Friday from 08:30 - 15:45 and will be a long term assignment with the opportunity to become a permanent member of staff in the future.

The pupil this position will be working with has ASD and needs assistance with literacy in particular.

The successful candidate would be required to work towards the following:

Employ strategies for behaviour management and report any problems to the teacher

Report any progress towards target for the pupil's behaviour support plan

Provide support during learning activities

Promote independent learning
