The Burrow is a term time, sessional nursery for 2 ½ to rising 5-year-old children, with an additional Holiday Club facility during the school holidays for Junior School aged children. Situated in a beautiful 19th Century gate house in Ashtead Park we have our very own wood and gardens, with ducks, rabbits, chickens and guinea pigs, all of which provides a unique combination of ‘home from home’ nursery and woodland learning.
We would like to recruit an enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to give 1:1 support to a child currently attending our nursery who has Speech, Language and Communication difficulties which in turn has an impact on their behaviour. This is a fixed term, term time only position with an immediate start and finishing at the end of the summer term on Friday 20th July 2018 when the child will leave the nursery to start school in September 2018. The hours are approximately 6-9 hours per week worked across 3 mornings. About the Role
To give 1:1 Learning Support within the Nursery provision to an individual child identified with Speech, Language, Communication and Behaviour difficulties. Provide safe, high quality care and education to enable the child to continue to access the Nursery provision in preparation for the transition to school.
