Behavioural Support TA required to work 1:1 with Year 2 Pupil at a Coventry based school

This Coventry based school was rated 'GOOD' overall in their last Ofsted report with an 'OUTSTANDING' rating for 'Behaviour and Safety of Pupils'. The vast majority of teaching standards have been rated as good with the rest being outstanding. The school prides themselves on creating a caring and stimulating environment for all pupils in order to give them the best possible start to their education. This is currently a 2 form entry in Reception through to KS1 and is likely to progress into KS2 in the future as it is continually growing in size.
Your new role
You will be required to work on a 1:1 basis with a pupil in year 2 who has behavioural issues. You will work with them to help ease their behavioural issues and will be supported by the class teacher, other TA's and the Head Teacher as you all work together to implement a long term plan to integrate the pupil back into the classroom. You will also be required to carry out an IEP and activities with minimal instruction.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a passionate person who has the drive to ensure pupils achieve their best. You will need to have experience working in a year 2 classroom following the National Curriculum and comfortable supporting pupils during their SATs. You will also have experience working with pupils with behavioural issues and preferably have 1:1 support experience. You will have a calm and patient personality and have a good understanding of how to help the pupil you are working with when they require your 1:1 support outside of the classroom.
