Part-Time Year 5/6 Class teacher job based near Crowborough and Tunbridge Wells. KS2 Class Teacher required.

This popular school near the Crowborough area is seeking a dedicated full active teacher from after February half-term ongoing, potentially up until the end of the academic year. The school is a mixed-form entry school and which offers great opportunity for your own growth and development. They are an OFSTED GOOD rated school and have excellent leadership and support structures. The school is looking to appoint a part-time teacher on an ongoing basis, with the opportunity to become a permanent member of staff. We welcome applications from both experienced and newly qualified teachers.

Your new role

You will be require to teach part time in a full active teaching role, working with either a Year 5/6 class of 30 children. This a fantastic opportunity to really focus on the individual needs of the children, working in a school that offers a nurturing and supportive environment. The school are looking for an ambitious teacher with a passion to develop and inspire children across the board, and really look to develop their skills. You will have a friendly, nurturing and confident approach to fit with the ethos of the school.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be a Primary Teacher you will need to have qualified teacher status. You will also need to have recent experience within a classroom setting in the last five years and be up to date with recent curriculum changes. You will need to be a creative and positive teacher who is able to embrace new surroundings and situations, whilst demonstrating a professional manor at all times. You will have strong classroom management skills with the ability to adapt. It is imperative that you have good communication skills as this is crucial when coordinating with TAs and other people in the school.

You will be paid an MPS/UPS teachers wage between £22,917-£38,824, based on where you fall on the pay scale. You'll receive advice and guidance from a supportive senior management team. You will also receive:
