Winners 2014

In May 2014, Rhys Edwards won £10,000 for his documentary 'A Good Bitch' in the fifth reed.co.uk Short Film Competition. Last year's contest challenged filmmakers to make a film about 'Family Business'.

"Winning means the world to me. I’ve been working in the TV industry for 14 years now, and finally plucked up the courage to go freelance last year. Since then, I’ve been able to give more time to my own projects, and winning this is the culmination of that. I’m extremely grateful to reed.co.uk for giving me this opportunity. It’s extremely important for companies like reed.co.uk to champion new filmmakers, and as you can see from past winners, it certainly makes a difference to somebody's career."  - Rhys Edwards, Grand Prix Winner
