Description
What’s covered in this workshop?
This course will introduce you to tools and methodologies aimed at achieving high-quality results, creating open and honest collaborating working relationships, and building effective solutions and consensus. Topics included in this workshop include: Identifying challenges and opportunities in leading effective teams, influencing and steering teams to achieve high quality results, implementing strategies to ensure high levels of participation and productivity, working effectively with team dynamics and implementing tools and strategies to manage any project.
What is a high-performing leader?
A fundamental attribute of all high performing leaders is their ability to earn a high level of trust from their team/followers. In terms of their competence, a high-performing leader should have the skills to do their job and be able to apply their skills under pressure. Their team sees that they are in control, understands the fundamentals and works hard to get the job done. In terms of character, a high-performing leader should remain true to their word and put the teams needs first when required to do so.
High-performing leaders take an interest in the individual. They get to know your background, ask questions and listen attentively, but, more importantly, they humanise themselves and let an individual get to know them too, and aren’t afraid to show their vulnerability.
