What’s covered in this class?
In this workshop, we’ll teach you how to become more of a creative thinker by learning creative-thinking approaches to generate new ideas and implement individual and team strategy. We’ll explore the way the brain operates in relation to creativity, practice creative thinking techniques, discover new techniques for building enthusiasm for new initiatives, enhance morale, group performance and collaboration.
What is creative thinking?
Creative thinking is all about developing innovative solutions to problems. Creative thinkers brainstorm not only a large number of ideas but also a variety and range of them. In the workplace, creative thinking holds value, as innovative employees can help solve complex, abstract problems.
What does creative thinking in the workplace look like?
First, a creative person brainstorms their ideas, then they’ll experiment with them. They look at ideas from multiple perspectives and examine how their solutions fit into the scope of what they’re working on. Creative thinkers aren’t afraid to take risks and try new ideas. In fact, this ability to develop, test, and implement original solutions makes them a valuable asset to just about any workplace.
Requirements
All you need is an internet connection and a device, such as a smart phone, tablet, laptop or PC, and an internet connection. We recommend you access it using either a laptop or desktop computer through Google Chrome.
